Now, I'm focusing on curating a small body of work from the permanent collection to exhibit in two small gallery spaces on Bates campus.

Working directly with the Art & Visual Culture Department, I scan images from art books, and retouch them in Photoshop, in preparation for professor's lectures and scholarly material. I have also spent considerable time retouching photographs of artifacts, that were taken on-site, in order to showcase their details in the best way possible.

I started as an intern through my high school's Senior Internship Program in May 2013, and returned to work during breaks from school and the following Summer. Tasks include writing blog posts, navigating and using Wordpress for the website and blog, inputting data into the blog and website to optimize the SEO and CSS Profiles, editing photos in Lightroom and Photoshop, occasionally assisting during photo sessions, cutting mat board for photos, running errands.

I began as a shelver in 2011, and began working at the Circulation desk in 2013. Shelvers must have strong organizational skills to maintain the bookshelves so that everything is in its proper place. Circulation workers work directly with patrons - checking books in and out, reserving items for patrons, answering phones, working the cash register, and keeping the patron's experience at the highest level of importance.
