Calvin has experience in expatriate taxation for individuals with international assignments, in particular those who have Canadian and U.S. tax filing obligations, including foreign reporting compliance (incl. FATCA), tax equalization calculations, and employer payroll compliance and advisory. Calvin also has practiced in cross-border US and Canadian corporate tax advisory, in particular with respect to efficient tax structuring for Canadian and US corporate structures.Calvin is currently employed as a Senior Tax Manager at Roth Mosey & Partners located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, practicing through a Canadian corporation as a contractor as of 2024 and was an employee prior to 2024. His role includes sign-off authority on personal tax filings, as well as a reviewer on advisory deliverables and corporate filings. He has experience representing clients with Canada Revenue Agency with respect to tax audits and voluntary disclosures with positive results. As a client lead, Calvin manages client relations on behalf of his clients at Roth Mosey as primary client contact, and is responsible for engagement management and billings.Calvin is an Enrolled Agent registered with the Internal Revenue Service, and will be writing the IQEX in Fall 2024 (CPA reciprocity exam).
