The Senior Director of Innovation (SDI) is responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing innovative programs, strategies, and solutions that address the unique needs and challenges in the human services field, specifically in residential care for youth. This role requires a creative thinker, a strategic planner, and a compassionate leader who can drive positive change. The Program Director is responsible for the overall management of the programmatic, administrative, financial, and operational systems related to the provision of Cottage Life care and services.• Continuously evaluates the quality of services and efficiency of cottage life programs and shelter, in order to ensure the highest quality of service is provided.• Develops, plans, and implements strategies for internal program growth.• Provides operational oversight to cottages and shelter program.• Provides youth, placing agencies, and family/legal guardians with requested information about program specifics.• Coordinates crisis management planning with administrators and supervisors.• Lead team member on all investigations regarding youth and team members. oversees all aspects of educational programming including recreation, music, and art.• Responsible for all training, onboarding, and performance management for supervised team members.• Adheres to and engages in hiring and progressive disciplinary procedures.• Assesses team member competencies using the results from performance improvement activities.• Collaborates with Leadership team to ensure best practices are utilized across the organization.
