Originally from Lexington, KY. Calynn joined KBEMS in October 2011 in a temporary capacity, quickly excelled to the position of Licensure and Certification Specialist and later accepted her current position of Resource Management Specialist. Her primary responsibilities include logistics for all Board related meetings, and assisting the Legal Department with investigations and filings.Moved onto a new position within Kentucky Community and Tech College System Office April 2022. New role is a Procurement Analyst in the Procurement to Payment Department. Primary responsibilities include establishing and administering bids/RFPs/RFQs, creating and dispatching purchase order to suppliers, maintains, interprets, and enforces KCTCS purchasing policy and KRS 45 and 45A model procurement code. Negotiates and monitors contracts with suppliers to gain appropriate savings and service levels. Supports Procurement Manager in Supplier Diversity Program by attending vendor events and diversity supplier meetings. Promotion to Analyst II, adding Supplier On Boarding to the above responsibilities.
