I am the lead Liverpool Rep for the VSC EDI conference taking place in June this year. Alongside all the reps from each vet school in the UK, Ireland and Utrecht, we have organized a conference to discuss how equality, diversity and inclusion impacts veterinary students and professionals lives and to identify ways to improve EDI in the industry.

Activity leader for international students of varying nationalities and ages.Roles included:-Leading activities in Oxford, Warwick and London -Ensuring safeguarding of individuals -Designing, organising and running evening activities

Involved in the opening of Pizzucci - a NY inspired restaurant serving pizza, arancini and soft serve -Involved in soft launches of restaurant -Managing large sections of restaurant -Knowledge of food and drinks products

-Create and craft bagel sandwiches and specials to a high standard -Work in a fast paced and busy environment ensuring customer satisfaction with taste and quality of food as well as wait times -Food safety -Hygiene

Helping and assisting the executive producer of Talkers & Doers in the production ‘Hamsters’ at Hamilton House in Bristol.

Fundraising Events Organized:1. Run to Edinburgh - organized a team event running 380 miles collectively to cover the milage between Bristol and Edinburgh 2. Organised a successful monologue slam competition held in the heart of Bristol at Dareshack working with local SW theatre companies who were our judges and offering prizes to successful performers

Organised and ran social events for members of the drama society throughout 2022. Events included: Charity Pub Quiz & Raffle (raising money for Asylum Link Merseyside), Bar Crawls, Performing arts ball (in association with the musical theatre and music society) & the annual drama awards ceremony

As the Liaison Officer, I communicated with the principal representatives of IVSA global to collate one health information for the IVSA global monthly newsletter. This role also involved communicating with the president of IVSA one health to organise and attend the regional symposiums (for example, Asia Symposium.) At these global events, I would create presentations to explain and communicate the events that the standing committee of one health had recently been involved in.

As the Senior Rep of the Liverpool branch of IVSA, I promoted the work of IVSA at a local level as well as communicating with members at a national and international level.I attended the 2021 AGM at Nottingham Vet School. I continued the IVSA podcast, recently renamed, to Vet Students Talk.

Working with WikiVet gave me the opportunity to voice my opinions regarding the popular vet student revision site ‘Wiki Vet’. The Student Reps from across the UK would meet up online every month to discuss the pros and cons of the website and how we think we could improve the site to aid revision for vet students.
