About Calypso Harland

With over 20 years of experience in the UK tech sector, I have worked in every layer of the tech stack, from infrastructure to application, mainly in B2B. I have been part of the team behind two sizeable acquisitions early in my career, and I have developed core competencies in strategic marketing, business development, commercial partnerships, and operational efficiency. My mission is to help fintechs navigate the complexities of the UK market and achieve their growth goals with greater ease and efficiency. As the founder of myforte and Fintech Fringe, I leverage my deep knowledge and experience in the UK fintech ecosystem to deliver comprehensive support to fintech scaleups looking to enter or expand in the UK market. I design and deliver events and programmes that provide a platform for fintech founders, customers, investors, and experts to share knowledge, network, and collaborate. I also offer a direct-to-consultant engagement model, enabling clients to access market-proven experts at market rate. I love a big challenge and mobilising teams to respond to the calling. Creative problem-solving gets me ignited, but it's my persistence and tenacity to push through to the other side that ensures those ideas get delivered. I'm happiest when I'm creating and building towards a lofty ambition, working with others who are not afraid to challenge the status quo.
