I want everyone to experience the thrill of seeing a live show in the West End or the way attending an intimate comedy night in a fringe theatre leaves you fizzing and inspired. It’s what life is about.I bring people together and champion small businesses, and I do that by curating experiences for people to treat each other. Think gin tours in classic Mini Coopers, and neon sign-making workshops. Think events that deliver a massive dose of fun and learning in a couple of hours. It’s thoughtful gifting, the kind of offering that brings a tear to the eye - and let’s be honest, that’s the reaction everyone really wants when giving a gift.My most recent creation is The Good Times Card, a gift card that's been created with purpose and a massive dose of humour. On a simple level it’s a pre-paid card for some of the best experiences in the UK. But really, it’s a key to life’s adventures: the nudge you need to go and do something really quite extraordinary.I’m also behind the Indytute (www.indytute.com), which launched October 2013 in Selfridges. Providing brilliantly inspired experiences, it focused on curating capsule workshops for businesses across London. The Indytute is now number 1 for gift experiences in London; since COVID-19 we pivoted into home kits and experiences online. In 2021, we were a finalist for the O2 Everyday Business Hero Award, and a finalist for The Great British Entrepreneur Awards (Pivot Entrepreneur of the Year).After Covid hit I started Deal Delivers to showcase all the small businesses offering delivery services in my hometown in Kent during lockdown. You can now find a hub in five other UK locations, and each one is designed to make it simple for the community to shop local.And if you cast your mind back, you might recall the Clippykit: a PVC bag to show off your momentos and Polaroids. I invented this sitting at my kitchen table over 20 years ago; well before the invention of Instagram. The bags were a hit; they went viral and could be spotted everywhere in London. From this, I created Clippy London, a range of unique accessories sold across the high street in the UK, Europe and Japan; in Harrods, Fenwick and Selfridges, Clippy Bags is a trusted brand, selling millions of units and recognised by young women across the UK.I'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!
