This was the lab where the chemicals were mixed to neutralize the "feed" to the "tank rooms" in the Zinc plant. Here the "feed" is the zinc ore suspended in a hydrochloric acid solution before the process of zinc electrolysis in the "Tank rooms" worked its magic separating it into zinc plates ready for the smelter.
