I am a current student at Colorado State University as an Impact MBA-Corporate Sustainability Candidate. I decided to pursue this degree after obtaining my bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Management at Colorado State University and knew that this program would give me the skills that I need to help corporations lower their carbon footprints in order to make the world more resilient for generations to come.As a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, I learned during my service what good leadership can inspire in people, I instilled the work ethic to ensure critical tasks are completed, and learned how to best support a wide variety of people during challenging times. Although my service does not define who I am as a person, I do believe it was a catalyst for my growth as a person and professional, and enabled me to set my goals for what I want to accomplish in life.
