As a Publishing Intern, my duties include working with my intern team and leading professor to narrow down contest entries to a final round for the judge's decision. Following the decision, I am responsible for writing and sending out rejection letters; helping to proofread, edit, and polish the winning manuscript for publication; and format the manuscript, design its cover, and manage its advertisement. During the polishing process for the winning manuscript, I will also be working closely with the author to ensure we are keeping with and supporting the manuscript's integrity.
