Brands are powerful, and it is my passion to use my diverse skill set to enrich these brands and help them build connections with audiences and stakeholders. I come from a graphic design background, including brand development, integrated marketing campaigns, merchandise, environmental design, digital content and web and app design - often from ideation through to execution. I also have experience as a videographer and animator, copywriter, on-the-ground content creator, social media manager and marketing manager overseeing communications strategy and development.Brands are complex beyond their aesthetics. A brands’ visual style and content must reflect the organisations brand promise. For that reason, I am dedicated to working with more than just my fellow creatives in building a brand. It must be an interdisciplinary collaboration built on cross-organisational teamwork to succeed. Through my roles with UOW Pulse and the Desert Rose, I have been able to work in several cross-disciplinary teams allowing me to work with creative and non-creative stakeholders when building brands and developing content and strategy.In December 2020 I graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies - Marketing and Advertising Communications (with distinction) and a Bachelor of Creative Arts - Graphic Design (with distinction). During this time, I have had the opportunity to hone my craft through many different positions. This has given me experience in an in-house, agency and freelance environment equipping me with a collection of skills.
