As the Area Lead of Coal Statistics & Central Operations, I manage two separate groups of analysts and customer service representatives to support the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) data collection, validation, and analysis processes for a variety of energy surveys.• Coordinate two separate team’s schedules and resources to support the Office of Electricity and Uranium Statistics and the Office of Oil, Gas, and Coal Supply Statistics at EIA.• Identify, track, and provide innovative solutions to challenges that arise for the Coal Statistics and Central Operations teams by using a creative problem solving approach. • Create schedules to effectively delegate IMG-Crown resources to fulfill project deliverables and deadlines.• Hold weekly team meetings to discuss current projects, challenges, and deliverables with the coal statistics team and central operations team.• Develop metrics to effectively manage team targets to ensure benchmark goals are being met or exceeded every month, quarter, and yearly.• Conduct energy market research to enhance data collection and validation processes.• Research state and federal energy and environmental policies to ensure high data quality on delivered datasets.

As team lead for IMG-Crown’s coal statistics group, I managed the data collection and validation process for Forms EIA-3, EIA-7A, and EIA-8A surveys that collect a variety of information pertaining to domestic coal production, consumption, and export market. • Provided direct contractor support to the Office of Electricity and Uranium Statistics within the U.S. Energy Information Administration.• Managed a group of three analysts to support the coal program.• Held biweekly meetings with key stakeholders to provide updates on the progress of data collection, validation, and when data sets are final for publication.• Downloaded and conducted quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) measures on collected coal data, third party MSHA data, and U.S. Census Export data utilized in various publications.• Coordinated and delegate resources to complete various tasks and projects related to the coal program.• Conducted energy market research to enhance data quality measures.• Monitored various energy markets and enacted energy and environmental policies to predict impacts on collected coal and electricity data. • Nominated for Employee of the Year, 2017.• Nominated for Employee of the Year, 2018.

During the summer, IMG-Crown hires interns to assist with various surveys across threedifferent tasks on our contract. I requested to help improve and manage the internshipprogram prior to 2018, after seeing the need for improvement.• Hired and managed a group of four individuals as interns during the summer.• Coordinated with each intern’s team to develop projects and tasks for them tocomplete during the summer.• Developed the skills of two interns and converted them into full-time employeeswithin IMG-Crown at the end of the summer.
