Ok I got interested in programming in 2006, did my school project in PHP, and i am still doing pretty good in it. Although i have also picked up Python along the way have done some serious programming in it particularly task that has to do with machine learning. I wrote an application called PhraseEngine in Python for mining information from all Nigerian news website, shortly after that I wrote an improved version of it called Phrasetank. This one uses NLPTK ( Natural Language Processing Tool Kit) for tagging and perform sentiment analysis on the news contents to figure out what is trending across the entire newsphere. Somehow i had about NodeJS and wondered how on earth is it possible to execute Javascript on the serverside until i ended up writing a streaming TCP server in NodeJS for a company I work for.So all along I have been a developer and still developing things that i want to see the possibility of doing for the fun of it. The bad thing is that, these side projects end up in my code-shelve where I put away my work for latter review. I also had about Thrift technology, from Facebook and wondered wow now things are getting better since its now pretty easy to write applications in different languages and get them taking to each other. Even though there are currently sparsely documented Thrift-How-To, I still manage to get my mind around the entire concept.Right now NoSQL is raging and I have got Cassandra and Hbase to look at. Again I have been looking at some serious source codes written in C++ and I now realize how powerful that language is, and I am getting a tinge sort of to seriously learn it, even though I have been scheming through a couple of Tuts in my leisure time.It's been a really bumpy road, but like every other developer around the world we have developed a strong affection for what we do and what we do is what we will be doing for the ...Maybe someday I might start organizing and publishing my works on Github.
