We've been recruiting people for market research, usability, product testing for more than 22 years. Each project has different specifications for which we are recruiting, with studies where almost everyone qualifies to those where we need people who own specific products or use specific technology, have a common or rare illness, are in the medical or are allied health professionals, live in a certain town, are native speakers of another language. Each project pays a stipend, based on the length of the interview and difficulty of finding people who meet the criteria. We thrill in the challenge of how to get the message out to the target audience and find qualifying participants. Some of the reasons our clients need research are: to learn what people want in a new product, to test and compare prototype versions of a new product, to see how usable a website or how effective the instructions for a product's setup or use are, to see what does or does not work in terms of marketing or outreach. Sometimes people think paying participants is too good to be true and is a scam, but we are really paying people for their time - most people would not volunteer otherwise. But because we pay people, there are occasionally those who would fabricate illnesses, income, age or occupations to participate. Our job is to schedule honest and reliable people who meet the client's criteria and will show up and complete their research session, whether it is in person, on the phone or online.

We work with multiple Boston area facilities in scheduling in-facility sessions; our default partner facilities, if appropriate for the project, are Bentley University's CMT in suburban Waltham and New England Opinion in Woonsocket, RI.
