Cameron Dales is a Silicon Valley based executive who has been part of the foundingteams of three publicly listed technology companies, each of which was a pioneer intheir respective industries (batteries, material science, commercial imaging satellites).Most recently, Cam was GM and Chief Commercial Officer of advanced lithium ionbattery company, Enovix (NASDAQ:ENVX), where he was responsible for allcommercial strategy and operations at the company including, sales, marketing,strategic business development, partnerships and investor and government relations.From lab start-up through a successful public listing in 2021, he navigated the companythrough multiple fund raising rounds, strategic customer deals, and built a $1.5B salesfunnel highlighted by strategic relationships with all six worldwide “mega-cap”technology companies.Prior to Enovix, Cam served as Vice President and GM for Symyx Technologies(NASDAQ:SMMX), a $150M revenue public company that developed high throughputrobotic tools and software for the discovery and processing of advanced materials. AtSymyx, he built and managed strategic, long term partnerships with several of theworld’s leading energy and materials companies including ExxonMobil, Dow and Merckand was responsible for process development, integration and the installation of over150 multi-instrument, robotic workflow systems worldwide. Cam started his career atLockheed Space Systems, where he developed and spaceflight qualified mechanismsand propulsion systems for several commercial and defense satellite programs. He waspart of the founding team that designed, built and launched the world’s first commercialhigh resolution imaging satellite, IKONOS, now part of Maxar (NYSE:MAXR).Cam holds a BSME from Cornell and an MS Aero/Astro from Stanford and is a namedinventor on 103 patents. Outside of work he enjoys riding bikes, playing the guitar andbalancing a dual career lifestyle with his spouse of almost 30 years as they try out beingempty nesters (aka, “Freebirds”).
