Assisted Professor Rebecca Green and the William & Mary Election Law Program on research involving state election issues; this included an analysis of North Carolina's state election statute for an ongoing eBenchbook project. Assisted the research division on multiple projects involving quantitative analysis describing state court and jury behavior. This included research and the production of a written memo on judicial performance evaluation programs around the country, as well as updating the "State of the States" data on jury structure in states and territories.

As an intern with the Office of the General Counsel, I assisted the Ethics Administration (GC/EA) and Legislative and Public Affairs (GC/LPA) divisions on employment and appropriations law. Tasks included legal research, drafting internal memos, and drafting a motion for summary judgment.

Indonesia

Worked with the Faculty of Law at Andalas University in Padang and the Constitutional Court of Indonesia in Jakarta to conduct research on the elections of local officials with a focus on how the national laws and Constitution dictate election administration. Under the The Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations for the Philadelphia Regional Office, I Investigated portfolios of investment advisors to ensure that asset allocation was consistent with advisor-client agreement and presented findings in memos to staff accountants. I also evaluated trade patterns for insider trading investigation and provided condensed spreadsheet reports. Researched new investor markets, including litigation finance, and organized briefs analyzing how securities law might apply to the new concepts.

Greater Philadelphia Area

Assisted the General Counsel, Associate General Counsel, and HR on immigration law, government regulations, employment matters, and contracts and leases.
