My beginning months with La-Z-Boy was spent immersed in the position of the sales consultant. Understanding this role was important in understanding the design role. In the sales consultant role I found myself being a top producer and this translated into the design role. The time here at La-Z-Boy has helped me to hone the natural skills and build upon the lessons of my craft discovered through my professional studies. Working mostly to assist with space planning using the application of color theory, styling homes and spaces based on specific aesthetics brought to the table by the sales consultants and clients. Based on their unique design problems.

Working as one of the Senior Interior Designers on Michael's team. Collaboratively worked on and managed elements of projects in different stages. As well as oversaw each project assigned by principal (Michael Upwall), meeting with the clients, presenting design solutions for each space, working with conractors to ensure the execution of project elements decided by design team and architecture team. Managed the specification and ordering of all materials associated with each project, tile, furniture, lighting, hardware, etc. We focused on a design build format, working from start to end on new build homes mostly located in Park City, UT. Specifically worked on projects ranging from 5000 sqft to 25,000 sqft.

Worked for Cori the beginning of starting at the Art Institute from a reference by a friend after I organized the schools design library. I worked for Cori helping to organize her library, build boxes of samples based on each local design account and specific aesthetics. As new product came in I would sort through and build "Latest Product" boxes and deliver to the designers. Assisted Cori with personal errands, grabbing coffee, detailing her car, ensuring it was ready to go and accompanying her to appointments and took notes of each appointment. Assisted her team with measurements and project management.

Worked in the sales consultant role, working to bring new product to the floor, complete and accessorize vignettes, working with customers and providing interior design services for customers looking for more hands on help with arranging their spaces. Provided services collaborating with contractors to install and place lighting, installing home and working to perfect spaces while clients were out of town, ensuring their spaces where put together for their return.
