Managing allocated vouchers and an annual budget of over $102M provided by HUD to maximize utilization without overspending. Provided strategic guidance to link internal and external partners to determine new innovative ways to grow the CMHA housing portfolio which currently services over 13,000 households and 35,000 individuals. Using cost analysis decided to moved the Inspections Department to an outsourced model that resulted in more than $500K reduction in expenses. Established and implemented a call center for handling client calls and servicing clients through video conferencing and online client portals. Moved the entire staff to work-from-home in the matter of three weeks to manage the COVID-19 pandemic and continue service to clients at expected levels.
