It was a great job, even if for a short period, but offered me the possibility to interact with great people and discover new things. The main activities for this job were:- Elaborate monthly documents for the accountant department like invoices, cashflow, bank statements, personal expenses for each employee;- Elaborate various type of contracts: labour, renting, for supplies, for equipment;- Help my colleagues with the timekeeping for our employees in France;- In charge of the recruitment process for our clients based in France;- Preparation of monthly reports if needs.

The company was a new one on the UK market, a joint venture between United Utilities and Severn Trent, two companies that have been in the water market for years. The new created company is one of the largest water retailer in the UK and with over 400,000 customers.They service the full spectrum of business customers, from small independents to the largest national chains.Regarding my activity, I was one of the main points of contact for Water Plus’s customers through inbound and outbound calling, supported through letter and email communications, building great relationships by working through customer’s enquiries from receipt to resolution. Making sure the customer is kept up to date, I was working to keep the company’s promises to their customers by helping to find an answer to their queries.I loved to be a part of this team as I could met lots of different cultures and as the business was a new one it was a real challenge for all of us.

I was in charge of the recruitment process for both Romanian and British HGV Class 1 and Class 2 drivers. More exactly, I put adverts on the websites from Romania and the UK, short-listed suitable candidates for the position then interviewed them via Skype. I was also responsible for translations, for completing all relevant documentation such as infringements, accident forms, etc. What I enjoyed most about this job was the level of interaction with customers and the fact I was able to help individuals.

I was responsible for all management activities such as reviewing and signing business associate agreements, coordinating the volume of sales, financial activities, finding new partnerships, searching for new ways to promote the gift boxes Originalo, coordinating the PR & Marketing departments in order to increase the volume of sales and visibility of the brand. I was also responsible for Social Media activities such as developing Facebook campaigns and developing competitions, increasing the followers on Twitter, and blogging. This position became more than just a job to me as it was a project that I had developed from the beginning.

As assistant manager at 2activePR, I was responsible for assuring the interface between the company and its clients. My duties were predominantly administrative and included activities such as setting up internal and external events, for example the Christmas Tree Festival in association with Save The Children, and dealing with general accounts related administrative duties such as monthly expense accounts, processing invoices, and updating corresponding paperwork.

Burchel & Associates was my first work assignment where I learned how to compose various types of documents such as notifications, complaints, info addresses, how to prepare the daily agendas, how to sort, register and post documentation in the correct manner.
