I specialise in working therapeutically with adults whom I support through bereavement and loss, life and relationships changes, mild- moderate presentations of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and impostor feelings. I am a member of the BACP whose ethical framework I adhere to and adopt a relational integrative and creative approach uniquely tailored to each client. I am qualified in several complementary fields which developed my analytic and creative skills. I thrive on challenging myself academically and professionally and am extremely versatile, having obtained valuable experience as a solicitor, educator, creative practitioner and counselling therapist. My experience also means that I understand deeply the similar experiences of my clients and the emotional toll of always striving for higher, better or different. This enables me to support you to achieve understanding of your drives, to experiment with change and/ or find acceptance of self.I am also training as a clay therapist, with Dr Lynne Souter-Anderson, and as a Qigong teacher, as I take a holistic perspective to therapeutic client work and believe that the mind, body, emotions and spirit are of equal importance to achieving balance as individuals. Additionally, I completed an extremely rigorous Reiki practitioner training with Victoria Lyons at the world renowned Lendrick Lodge retreat centre in Scotland.
