Over the last 10 years, I’ve gained effective and strategic communication and negotiation skills on the phone, virtually, and in person. In May 2022, I was appointed the head of a developing Restaurant Cancellations team and acted as a resource for others as the department's approach and policies were tested and established. I'm thankful for the time management skills, exposure to organizing projects and data for a team, and the opportunity to govern my own progress and the evolution of my personal and professional goals. At the beginning of 2023, I stepped away from work to care for an infant in need within my extended family. My Fiance and I were recently awarded full custody and we’re currently working through a foster-to-adopt program to care for the little lady permanently. As we settled into life with a little one, I realized that I've always circled back to caring for children. For years, I've envisioned a long term career path with an organization that matches my desire to make a positive influence. I refused to settle for anything less than a genuinely positive atmosphere filled with passionate individuals, a dedication to personal/professional growth, and encouragement towards a healthy work-life balance. In June 2023, the universe presented me with an opportunity to train as a Behavioral Health Technician with Trumpet Behavioral Health. I now have the opportunity to use an Applied Behavior Analysis based therapy to help children and young adults with intellectual disabilities as a Registered Behavioral Technician.
