Develop or update Written Schemes of Examination or equivalent (e.g. Inspection Test Plan) as part of inspection preparations as required.Plan and carry out pre-surveys of equipment and where necessary identify preparation for inspection and Non Destructive Examination (NDE) requirements.Carry out Inspection of plant and pipework within the limitations of the Oceaneering issued Letter of Authority (LoA) in compliance with the Written Scheme of Examination or equivalent as well as Oceaneering and client procedures.Supervise Oceaneering personnel and third parties. Ensure the contractor understands the workscope, associated risks and the work is completed and reported as specified in the workscope. Carry out briefings/Tool Box Talks to all Inspection/ NDT Personnel.Issue inspection reports within the time period as stated in the relevant procedures; ensuring condition, suitability for further service are appropriately addressed.Review and where applicable sign acceptance of inspection reports completed by NDT technicians or Third parties.Assess defects or anomalies found, ensuring use of the Oceaneering or client anomaly process e.g. IQ/RO or DA procedure.Provide remedial recommendations as required and inspect the subsequent repair work for acceptance.Update or provide information for updating the inspection database (e.g. ACET) and maintenance management systems (e.g. Maximo, SAP) with inspection activities as required.Attend meetings and reviews as appropriate e.g. Shutdown, IQRO, planning, safety and hazard risk assessment etc.Maintain assigned Logs or Registers ensuring that they are up-to-date and in accordance with Oceaneering/client procedures.Issue status reports as required e.g. daily/ weekly/ handover, etc.

•Lead NDT Technician on the BP Bruce, responsible for all NDT and Inspection that takes place onboard.•Responsible for the first stage of the creation and for the implementation of work packs for the offshore technicians to complete.•Responsible for ensuring all radiography that takes place on board, including completion of all safety documentation and transfer documents, are done so inline with Oceaneering and Client procedures.•Hold daily meetings with the teams on board to plan work scopes for the duration of the task.•Manage the progress of NDT work scopes. •QA/QC of NDT reports before transfer to the main office for input to the ACET system. •Responsible for carrying out audits on all inspection techniques, rope access techniques and radiation safety procedures.• Accountable for facilitating all Oceaneeering's offshore risk assessments.•Competent in the interpretation and evaluation of engineering drawings. Proficient in recreating with the use of computer based software or by hand.
