As a buyer at Basetek Limited I enjoy regular opportunities to think strategically about procurement; using my experience to investigate methods of adding value in procurement and supply at a multinational level. I have great enthusiasm for the procurement and logistics industry as it becomes an increasingly crucial component of our globalised economy, I am currently studying to become a certified procurement professional through the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) . Through my studies I am gaining understanding of organisational procedures and processes including negotiation, planning, risk management and data analysis.I do also enjoy using my international background and fluency in Spanish and Portuguese to help communicate with and meet the high demands of our global client base consisting of major players in the mining, oil and gas industries.
