A Student Success Advisor is the first point of contact for a student. They are a resource from which students can obtain knowledge of different services available to them, a directory of significant staff who they may need to interact with over the course of their program, and a wealth of information regarding Policies and Processes.

Tasks: Creating and implementing student IEPs for Elementary-grade children, one-on-one academic support, and direction of club, extra-curricular, and camp programming

Tutored children ages 10-15 in a variety of subjects (English, Math, Science, etc.). Developed individualized lesson plans and progress reports. Provided advice to parents to help their child develop skills between tutoring sessions.

Led virtual summer camp programming for children ages 7-13. Planned weekly themed activities, and facilitated educational and leisure games tailored to weekly participants. Monitored socio-cognitive growth and progressively challenged children to further develop their skills.

Prepared and facilitated daily activities, sports, and games for children ages 4-13. Promoted a healthy and inclusive environment where children were encouraged to improve their social skills and physical literacy. Strived to improve the problem solving and cooperation skills of children in camp. As a senior leader, aimed to establish a team mentality between co-workers.
