Duties include graphic design, website management, social media management, content creation, EDM creation and distribution, managing media requests and assisting other business areas as required. This role also included the design of collateral in line with brand guidelines and conducting audits of existing materials to ensure the business's unique tourism offer is correctly represented. This role also provided opportunities to liaise with Tourism Australia and local tourism associations to represent the Margan brand best.

Responsible for ensuring a premium guest dining experience at the exclusive Elysia Retreat in the Hunter Valley. This role reports directly to the Area Director of Food & Beverage and General Manager. Duties included scheduling, managing general day-to-day operations, implementing new and ensuring current standards are maintained, and managing demanding customer - requirements. I played a significant role in the guest experience response team based on my previous customer service experience to assist in handling guest relations after their stay using Review Pro.

Duties included; hotel sales system administration, hotel systems and procedures trainer, performance management and coaching, inventory management, business planning and strategising, management of day-to-day venue operations, and health and safety management, including risk analysis and conducting investigations into accidents. A high level of workplace-specific skills and administrative skills were required. This role involved leading a skilled restaurant team that could cater for 165 people. I was able to maintain high service standards from my team and worked to create a guest journey to ensure a consistent, efficient, and, most importantly, positive experience.

Hunter Valley

This was a leadership role in a fast-paced work environment with teams of varying abilities. Duties included staff management and development, inventory management, guest experience management and general supervisory responsibilities. Control of all reservations and coordination of booking software was required in this role. Other duties also included occupational health and safety duties as a member of the responsible business committee.
