Present at local and national conferences such as the National Children & Youth Garden Symposium and Informal Science Education Association conference.

Delivers public presentations to students and general public at schools and community events on the topic of groundwater, water conservation, as well as other environmental issues and solutions. Maintains and transports mobile education exhibit while researching and designing a native plant display to aid in teaching the public about water conservation techniques. Ensures and maintains relationships and involvement with local agencies such as Texas Agrilife, Soil and Water Conservation Districts, 4H, FFA, etc.

Prepared and facilitated four interpretive natural or cultural history programs to a variety of diverse audiences. Answered questions at park visitor contact stations and communicated current park issues in a professional manner to the public. Conducted research to determine when black bears were entering and exiting their winter dens in Big Bend National Park. Composed a proposal, draft, and final paper in Journal of Wildlife Management format to explain the results of my research. Prepared and presented oral presentations. Created a poster to represent my findings. Collected and evaluated data and assembled information into graphs and tables. Constructed maps and diagrams using Arc GIS.
