My role was to investigate, design & deliver engineering projects. In this role I was able to develop the following skills:- Scoping of projects & solution feasibility to support procurement, commission, construction and final delivery of projects within timescales & agreed budgets- Development of designs in compliance with industry standards ensuring solutions are safe to build, operate & maintain- Detailing the project from initial scoping through to completion with weekly progress reports, client meetings & a final project completion report- Communicating technical design ideas through construction drawings- Liaising with & developing ongoing relationships with clients, contractors, stakeholders &customers as well as working with all parties to ensure the delivery of the agreed solution- Supporting client project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects- Management of client assets from initial investigation through to refurbishment

UniNote is a start-up online service providing course and university specific lecture notes to students, it was started by a group of Durham University students and commenced operation in June 2017. My main roles at UniNote were to upload new content to the website and to design and develop the UI and UX for the website using WordPress.

During the summer of 2016 I went to the US to work as one of eight counsellors at a children’s summer camp in Massachusetts. During this time I was responsible for a group of thirteen 8 to 10 year olds for whom I co-ordinated & supervised daily activities. In addition I designed & led team-building activities for a broader group of 8 to 17 year olds including management & supervision of the adventure course. During my time at the camp I was given progressively more responsibility and eventually became a team leader & mentor to the new intake of counsellors.
