As a 2022 graduate from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in English/Journalism and a minor in Communication, Cameron Beall is a current sports reporter at the New Britain Herald living in West Hartford, CT. Beall is also a freelance play-by-play broadcaster who served as the primary voice of the University of New Hampshire Wildcats' football team for the 2022 season. During his time at UNH, Beall was the sports editor of the school's student-run newspaper, The New Hampshire. While overseeing the rest of the staff, he also covered the beat for the UNH football and men's basketball programs from 2019-2022.Beall was named the sports director of WUNH, the school's student-run radio station, as well in 2020. This job entailed managing the sports department at the station, hosting/producing a two-hour weekly show, and broadcasting select UNH men's hockey and basketball games during the winter seasons.As an intern with the UNH athletics department from 2020-21, Beall managed the social media accounts for the Wildcats' women's soccer program creating graphics, editing video and posting to social media. He was given the opportunity to call games for soccer, basketball and lacrosse programs on ESPN3/+ and America East TV during his time with the department. He was selected to call multiple conference championship games as well as NCAA Tournament games for the men's soccer team in 2021.Upon graduating in May of 2022, Beall made the move to Connecticut where he accepted a job as a sports reporter for the New Britain Herald. At the Herald, Beall has spent time covering the New Britain Bees of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League, the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils, high school sports for five local towns, and select games for the UConn Huskies.He continued his work as a play-by-play voice following graduation as the voice of UNH football to go along with work at Boston University and Brown University.
