• Maintenance of all accounting records and trial balances of each entity within SAP• Ensure accurate and timely posting of financial transactions • Preparation of the annual report and group and subsidiary statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS • Preparation of cash flow statement• Liaising with external auditors and the internal group reporting team to ensure statutory accounts are prepared and audited within the set timelines• Supporting the balance sheet reviews across the business ensuring reconciliations are performed and schedules are reviewed for all significant balance sheet items and summarising key issues and audit risks for the Head of Finance• Maintaining the fixed asset register including preparation of any journals required• Assist with the inter-company process ensuring that all group balances are accurately reconciled and agreed on a periodic basis• Ad hoc around new accounting standards and interpretations and the impact on the group’s accounting treatment
