Joined AHK on the A300-600 as First Officer. One year later upgraded to Captain.AHK is the only 'all cargo' operator in Hong Kong, having been established back in the mid-1980's. In 2004, the name re-appeared as a joint venture between Cathay Pacific and DHL. Services centered around the Overnight Express of DHL freight in the South-East Asian region.Upgraded to Training Captain on the A300, after which I applied for and accepted the position of Deputy Chief Pilot.

In the position of DCP, I was able to further expand my abilities to TRI/TRE on the A300, Base Training Captain, certified both in the Sim and Aircraft, and finally as approved A300 Test Pilot for the purpose of furnishing Airworthiness Flight Test Reports to the local Authority.In my time as DCP, I have worked through five (5) IOSA Audits and as many LOSA Audits. My role has allowed me to attend industry conferences, such as the Airbus Safety Conference, on multiple occasions, in which I have made contact with and developed some working relationships with other A300 operators.I am part of a team that manages fleet and company wide documentation via a digital document management portal, inclusive of delivery of said documents to end-user EFB's.I am a part of an experienced and diversified team of professionals, dedicated to the success and wellbeing of our crew, which in turn leads to success of our customer and their needs.For this, I consider myself very privileged.

B737-800 NG First Officer. Later appointed to Manager, Flight Projects, being responsible for performance analysis of new city pairs and submission of said analysis to the local authority. Production of 'Port Pages' for crew use.Trained and certified by RMIT for the purpose of delivering and assessing pilots' English Language Proficiency, which became a worldwide standard in aviation in 2008. I was responsible for all HKA pilots at the time and extended the services to other local Hong Kong operators, which included MertoJet, Jet Aviation, HeliServices and Government Flying Services (GFS).

Bangkok City, Thailand

Scheduled passenger services between DMK-HKG and several domestic routes in Thailand. Majority of my flying was international charter work between Kathmandu and Dhaka to several countries in West Africa and across the Atlantic to Haiti. Passengers included United Nations Peace Keepers on rotation between these countries and their home ports.Appointed as Assistant Chief Pilot, primarily tasked with SOP oversight and the implementation of Navtech Flight Planning in place of SITA, implementation of Jeppesen charting services (paper), and general operational assistance for the charter services provided to the UN.

Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia

Search & Rescue services on behalf of the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) utilising the Grumman Albatross built in 1954 for the USN. This aircraft was purpose built to work in heavy seas, capable of recovering up to 3 litters and 10 passengers.The capability of the Albatross was, and remains, unmatched in Australia at the time of its operation.Trained by AMSA in search pattern techniques, location and equipment drop to the ocean surface.If required, the aircraft and crew were certified by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) to operate into and out of 1.5m sea state.
