About Cameron Boyce

A hard working, adaptable and well organised IT project assistant with a positive attitude to challenges. Five years’ experience of providing first rate IT Support for a number of high profile clients as well as recently providing assistance with various projects alongside the Project Manager to deliver quality projects on time and under budget. Thrives under pressure, working well within in a team but also able to lead others to ensure work is completed at the highest possible standard and on time. While working with CSC, I was lucky either to work on projects through every weekend throughout my time in that company, where we did a lot of pcs moves, PC rollouts, laptop memory upgrade and screen audits. And to be given opportunities where I project lead (had a small team that worked under me), where I was given instructions and floor plans from the project manager. For example PC moves from one building to another. Where we would go to sit unplug all pcs and unpatch from the comms room, the removal guys would move it from there and move them to the next site, where we would liaise with the removal guys going through to floor plan to get the pcs on the right desks so we can get them installed and patched in.While at NHS Oxleas, I had the opportunity to work alongside project manager, where I would go into meetings with the project manager, client and stakeholder and give my points and opinions about how the project is going and what can be done to improve the transition (in which in case this was the printer rollout) so the next phase of it can work a lot smoother. I was also given floor plans to where the printers had to go. With this I would coordinate with the stakeholder and client to make sure printer is placed in the right places. I am currently working on a PC upgrade, where myself and colleagues go round to each site and upgrade the old pcs for new ones and update the spreadsheet in which we are working through.
