As a senior member of the FAST research group, I contribute to an interdisciplinary team focused on advancing sustainable solar photovoltaic technology and open-source hardware solutions under the leadership of Professor Joshua Pearce. Our approach emphasizes appropriate technologies and leverages RepRap 3-D printing to innovate in distributed recycling and additive manufacturing.My focus is on developing distributed open-source solutions in electronics, biomedical, manufacturing, and recycling to empower under-resourced communities, promoting sustainability and accessibility through practical, low-cost technologies. My work aims to leverage and advance open, interoperable software tool-chains to enable a data-driven approach, resulting in robust computational engineering models that foster innovation and efficiency.

As the Payload Team Lead at WE Rocketry, I am responsible for leading the design and development of the payloads to be flown in our student-made sounding rocket.

Actively contributed to the mission of How to Change the World as a full-time Summer Associate in the Learning & Experience team, focusing on Challenge Development. Utilizing my skills to research, conceptualize, and create Challenge Briefs which tackle global environmental and social sustainability issues. My role involved thorough investigation of sustainability challenges in diverse local contexts, integrating both primary and secondary research methods. I liaised with local stakeholders to validate and enrich my understanding of local issues. The Challenge Briefs I developed play a foundational role in the organization's experiential education programs. My tenure is marked by constant engagement with external stakeholders, sustainability experts, educational specialists, and business professionals in a highly virtual and dynamic work environment. Besides developing Challenges, my involvement extends to outreach programs and contract teaching roles, fostering a growth mindset within the organization and its community.

At Field Ready, I developed a deep understanding of the organization's vision, methods, and policies, while aligning with Western University's protocols for new projects and funding management. My role was crucial in bridging Field Ready and Western University, identifying collaborative research and product development opportunities. I actively engaged in team and program meetings to stay current with ongoing and upcoming field projects, enhancing my skills in both coordination and project insights.

My role as part of the teaching team was to educate, support, and motivate the program participants as they develop targeted, sustainable solutions to global issues identified by the United Nation as part of the Sustainable Development Goals.As a judge for the final showcase I worked with experts, local stakeholders, and academics to review the final solution portfolios to decide which teams will receive the awards for best overall, most implementable, and most creative/innovative solution.A key responsibility was guiding and teaching participants on how to create a strong, specific problem statement and educating on why effective problem and stakeholder identification is essential to the human-centered design process.

Employed at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital where responsibilities included to screen all patients, staff, and essential visitors for Covid-19 risk indicators, sanitize high contact areas, and uphold public safety standards surrounding the use of masks and hand sanitization.• Direct and transport patients to emergency room/diagnostic imagining

At the Township of Uxbridge pool I held multiple roles within the aquatics administrartive staff and instructional teams. As a Deck Supervisor, my role involves supervising swimming lessons to support instructors, ensuring public safety, and maintaining strong customer relations. In my capacity as an Aquatic Fitness Instructor, I plan and lead aquatic exercise classes. Additionally, as a Lifesaving Instructor, I teach Lifesaving Society programs, which include first aid and aquatic life-saving techniques. My responsibilities also extend to being an Office Supervisor, where I am in charge of program registration, managing pool systems and chemicals, overseeing facility maintenance, and handling opening and closing procedures. This role also involves employee management and a variety of other administrative tasks.

In my role at Roxy Theatres Uxbridge, I worked as a Projectionist and Manager on Duty, ensuring excellent customer service in a clean and welcoming entertainment setting. My responsibilities included efficiently processing orders using a POS system, overseeing stock control, and managing daily financial operations. I was also in charge of setting up and running the movie projection and sound systems, contributing to an exceptional viewing experience with state-of-the-art technology. Additionally, I managed public relations and supervised both the supervisory and regular staff, playing a crucial role in maintaining the theatre's renowned community-focused, nostalgic atmosphere.
