My name is Cameron Campbell. I’m a disabled US Army Veteran. During my 6 years of military service, I learned a plethora of valuable skills as an Geospatial Intelligence Analyst. Paramount among these skills, is my attention to detail and drive for success no matter how long or hard the work. I also learned many clerical skills and how to work with programs such as Microsoft’s Excel, PowerPoint, and outlook.After my military service I became a professional fundraiser for charities such as Save the Children, The Nature Conservancy, and ASPCA, to name a few. During my three year time in this field, I climbed the ranks from an entry level canvasser to a director of fundraising for a fundraising office. While climbing that ladder, I adapted the skills I learned in my military service and became proficient at interviewing, hiring, training and mentoring a staff of 8-12 personnel to reach organizational standards for new monthly donors.I attempted a career change to customer Development/sales for Power Home Remodeling in both retail and door-to-door settings, however I was forced to step away to take care of the health of my family.Now I am looking to start a career as a remote Software Developer. I’m currently taking a Full Stack Development Immersive Bootcamp, through San Diego Global Knowledge University, and I’m strongly desiring an opportunity to flourish in this industry. I adapt and learn quickly to extend my range of skills to accomplish whatever objectives are put in front of me.
