Currently development team manager for Cheltenham town ladies FC. This requires me to provide tactics on match day for the best possible result as well as using training as a chance to work on developing the players within the squad. My time at university and college allowed me to develop a broader coaching platform as I have worked with Behavioural and physically disabled students in making them better with there cognitive skills towards sport. This has allowed me to adapt and progress sessions based on the type of athlete that I have worked with. All my footballing and sports knowledge has come from multiple amounts of experience within the field as well as my desire to be the best in the sports that I am good at. In my time as a footballer, I have also banked multiple awards for my performances and professionalism on and off the field, including managers player of the season. This suggests that I always want to be the best I can and develop my skills further. I have a level 1 in first aid at work that allows me to deal with minor injuries that may occur within the workforce in a competent way. My coaching philosophy has allowed me to develop a better rapport with atheletes as I focus my coaching style around developing the whole person so that they can achieve better things rather than having a sole focus on the concept of winning and having a heavy results focused leadership style. This has allowed me to understand athletes needs more, resulting in more achievable targets to be attained. I am DBS qualified which enables me to work, on my own, with children of vulnerability within a coaching setup. I have been a captain many times whilst have been playing football which suggests that I have quality leadership skills which helps to motivate players into performing better
