Network Support Engineer for AST Networks (Americas)I started my career in the Communications industry via the U.S. Army as Signal Corps as a 25Q Multichannel Transmission Systems Operator Maintainer. Specializing in installation, operation, and maintenance of Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT), Line-of-Sight (LoS), High-Capacity Line-of-Sight (HCLOS) and various other RF and handheld Radio communications to include peripherals. Managing these networks and associated infrastructure in support of combat elements on demand.In my civilian career I have transitioned to Strategic SATCOM support to include global managed services. Providing support to field service staff in Operations Centers and remotely working with all levels of support Tiers in collaboration with engineering teams and project leads to integrate solutions and resolve incidents in a timely manner whether it be SLA related or best efforts. I love solving problems and am constantly challenging myself to not be complacent in this constantly evolving industry.
