I am results orientated “hands on” experienced General Manager with over 30 years of experience in surface mining operations and civil infrastructure. I have worked predominantly in hard rock Gold and Copper open pit mines in Africa. My career includes overseeing multiple operations at a corporate level (MD & COO) and I have held Mine General Manager’s positions at an operational level. I have held several key management positions ranging from operational start-ups involving open pit mining projects, to brownfield developments. I have a 360° view of mining project life cycles including : exploration, development, construction, ramp up and operation.I am focused on positive safety performance, practical operating systems, and developing and training staff so that goals can be exceeded.
