I work solo for my position and work directly under my boss who is in direct communication with the corporate marketing departments and owner. I am a self sufficient worker and handle the art that needs to be photographed when it comes in. My process is:Stage art (hanging or placing art flat on vacuum wall)Open Capture One to add file name, inventory code, edition number, etc.Take photo of art using high end large format camera and strobe lightsEach photo is cataloged in the correct artist folder in Capture OneExport file(s) to PhotoshopStraighten, crop, and color correct each pieceSave file as Tiff and JPEG for our server or file systemI also shoot the piece once its reframed with a similar process

I worked for a small print shop where 90% of our clients were artists. I was great with getting their prints as close to the original as possible while cleaning up imperfections on their files where I could. I took pride in making each print, sticker or flyer the best it could be with what I had to work with. I was one of 2 employee's that started working for my boss when he opened up a new office in Austin TX. From there I helped it grow to be around 7 employee's and a separate apparel line.
