My passion for engineering started as I entered my middle school’s STEM program. Since then, my love and interest in the field of creativity have grown immensely. What started with building Lego cities and contraptions has now turned into excitement towards the future tech of additive manufacturing, sustainable materials, and AI development. As a recent graduate of Slippery Rock University, I managed the additive manufacturing lab and lead mountain bike group rides. Both of my research projects combined my love for these things; designing and producing a full-suspension mountain biking frame and developing a system to recycle PLA filament in-house for students to use for their own 3D prints. Now, I have joined Gates as a Bike Application Engineer in the Mobility group working to further accelerate the development and spread of belt drive bicycle systems. I am thrilled to be able to enter this field at a time when technology is advancing faster than ever!
