Enrolled in an NCTJ-accredited Multimedia Sports Journalism course at Bournemouth University, I have developed skills in sports broadcasting, media law, and feature writing, achieving a 2:1 in my second year. Alongside my university work, I am currently in a paid position as a writer with Fulhamish (the award winning podcast, social media, blog page and independent voice of Fulham FC fans.) My articles discuss relevant topics - performance of players, various statistics and other pressing matters related to Fulham Football Club.Further to this, since September 2024, I have started a placement position at AFC Stoneham football Club in Southampton. My role at the club relates to matchday media, producing quality match reports and conducting post match interviews with the manager uploaded via their social media and website, amassing 1,500 views on a regular basis.My current University project, 'Reduction in Records', is an in depth investigation and analysis into the decline in world records broken at each Olympic games in the past twenty years. As part of this project, I have interviewed 2024 Olympian Holly Dunford and Masters Athlete and world record holder Virginia Mitchell in order to produce a 2,500 word article with additional content via a project related website and dedicated social media pages.Throughout my degree, I have appeared as a guest on Nerve Radio, discussing various aspects of football.
