PSV Bus Driver for Thames Travel Bus Company Based in Didcot, Oxfordshire.• Work to a schedule of driving duties to include early starts and late finishing, as well as weekend work.• Ensuring the safe transportation of customers to/from various destinations.• Carry out daily vehicle checks of the designated vehicle and its equipment, report and faults/defects in accordance with company policies and procedures.• Ensure the vehicle is clean and presentable and to the company’s required standard.• Assist in the gathering of statistical information by the completion of daily records i.e. Vehicle, customer and driver records. • Sell and promote the full range of tickets to customers and in particular the Key.• Be accountable for the collection, reconciliation and hand over of fare monies in line with company procedures.• Work in helpful, caring and confidential manner and assist customers as and when required, referring customer complaints and anomalies about the service to your immediate supervisor.• Report immediately to your immediate line supervisor any changes that may affect the validity of your driving licence and work in conjunction with the Company to ensure relevant driving legislation is being followed at all times.• Report immediately to your immediate line supervisor all traffic incidents/accidents, or any incidents/accidents affecting customers and complete all relevant paperwork at the first opportunity.• Undertake appropriate training in order to assist the Company in achieving its aim of being a centre of excellence for passenger transport.• At all times, be an ambassador of the Company and Bus use in general.• Operate in line with the Company Mission, Vision and Values. Encouraging others to do the same.

Collection of clinic waste from client’s site and transport back to site for disposal in accordance with “The European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road” known as ADR. • Collect Clinical waste under ADR.• Transport the waste back to our site for disposal under ADR Rules.• Delivery Stock as required by our clients.• Fill out and gain signatures on appropriate paperwork including daily route sheet and daily vehicle walk around sheets.
