A Consultant Engineer working in the Transport and Engineering department at Norman Rourke Pryme. Specialising in RIBA 1 - 3 concept design and working on new and innovative projects across central and greater London. Passionate and driven surrounding the subject of new sustainable and renewable engineering technologies & design and hope to be a key part of the future of the built environment in which we live.During my time at Caterpillar as an Innovation and Technology Engineer, I gained experience testing starter motors and alternators in a controlled environment to identify cause of failure, then working with the team to come up with innovative solutions to improve the products. Using programs such as Creo and Teamcenter, as well as liaising with suppliers and CAT office around the globe, I learnt so much from different cultures and talents that the worldwide CAT team had to offer. I focused my dissertation on an HVAC simulation for electric vehicles to identify the possibility of the use of heat pumps to use the waste heat energy from the vehicle battery to heat the cabin of the vehicle more efficiently, using less power and thus increasing the vehicle range to make electric vehicles a more viable alternative to standard combustion engines.I look forward to continuing my work as an engineer across various sectors of the engineering world, using my talents to come up with new designs and innovative solutions to improve todays built environment.
