Please find enclosed a copy of my Curriculum Vitae in response to the linkdin for a Line-cook/Baker/Kitchen help. In Eugene, OR. I am Currently an enthusiast of creating and preparing fine foods for people to enjoy, I work in a Retirement home where we house 300 residents and prepare meals throughout the day according to their dietary needs and chefs exact specifications. I have been working in an out of kitchens as young as eighteen years of age, and pursue food with a passion. I love the kitchen atmosphere and haven’t found any other place I find more comfortable in my own skill sets than a beautiful kitchen with abounding food possibilities. Ever since I was young, I was put in place of taking care of my younger 4 siblings. My parents own both of their companies, so it was up to me to figure out lunches for school and Dinner after School. As the oldest sibling I kind of grew up with a fondness of following a recipe and turning these items into a creation everyone loves (i.e. the family) and in the end fulfilling my own satisfaction through the satisfaction of others. I have, what I like to call more than expectable knife skills and the knowledge of sharpening my own knives (yes, I have my own knives). I love prep work, and would mostly prefer to work as a prep cook if possible, but I also have the time sensitivity and plate presentation as well as creating delectable food to line cook. As you can see from my CV, my academic and leisure activities have given me the capacity an confidence to work well in a Kitchen setting. My ability to work well under pressure has been illustrated by my handling of Kitchen Tasks such as sensitivity to time management, in keeping my work environment clean and neatly in order, I can communicate well with others, perform my duties without question, remain on task and take the initiative to find work that needs completing.
