Hello and thank you for taking a look at my profile. I graduated from Saginaw Valley State University where I majored in Professional and Technical Writing and minored in Communication. While attending SVSU, I took part in my department's Usability Research Team, an organization where fellow Technical Writers can work together in a semi-professional environment to improve the general usability design of local businesses. I have spent most of my working experience self employed, working as a videographer for various companies. This has taught me responsibility, empathy, and proper client communication skills; traits that will prove useful in my professional career. I spent some time employed at a local Doggy Daycare business working as an intern to edit old documents into newer, more readable documents for employees.I am looking forward to continuing my work in the professional sphere of Technical Communication. I use the skills I have learned in my communication minor as an extra bonus to my application, as I have learned countless helpful strategies and tips for communication in both the personal and professional world.My latest job was working full time for Aston Carter with General Motors as a Social Media Advisor until it ended in late May, 2023. There, I worked with the general public to troubleshoot and assess their concerns.
