- Researching fault scaling relationships in regions of incipient continental rifting along the southwestern extension of the East African Rift System.- Mapping faults in the Okavango Rift Zone using ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro software; interpreting aeromagnetic and topographic datasets to build a geospatial database of faults.- Statistical analysis of the geodatabase to quantify fault distribution with implications for incipient continental rifting.- Posters and conference abstracts at AGU 2023, GSA Northeast 2024, and GRC Rock Deformation 2024.- Published my results in Earth and Planetary Science Letters (Grant et al. 2024)

- 3-day field trip for data collection, QC, and seismic instrument maintenance.- Microseismic data processing and analysis for a volcanic geothermal prospect in southern Japan.- Land and marine reflection seismic data processing.- Created a Japan-wide crustal strain map from scratch for geothermal exploration using 11 years of raw GPS timeseries data from ~1200 stations.

- Independently investigated links between tropical and polar climate to better understand how tropical patterns drive critical Antarctic ocean dynamics via atmospheric connections.- Analyzed and performed statistical analyses on large datasets in Python (xarray).- Processed multiple 70-year multidimensional time series datasets.- Produced scientific poster and research paper, presented results at AGU 2022.

- Assisted Executive Director via regular meetings and assignments to streamline and increase social justice impact.- Planned, organized, and facilitated social justice events/actions related to food insecurity, solitary confinement, immigrant justice, police accountability, both online and in-person.- Represented WESPAC at local events.- Administrative tasks, including member/donor outreach and correspondence.
