At the University of Maine, I have immersed myself in learning and have been rewarded with induction into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and the Pi Tau Sigma Mechanical Engineering Honor Society. I have developed high-level logical thinking and problem solving skills, which will help me effectively approach tasks in a professional setting. For my senior project, I am on a team designing and building an autonomous land drone. We are in charge of the mechanical and electrical design, construction, and testing of our surveillance drone. This is a valuable, tangible experience which simulates a professional project and enhances the engineering skillset that I can provide as an employee. For two summers, I was employed as an engineering intern at Cianbro Construction Company, where I worked in a Procter & Gamble manufacturing plant and a Sappi Fine Paper Mill. With the guidance of a Project Engineer and Project Manager, I was responsible for budget proposals, job logs and invoices, as well as many hands-on aspects of construction and plant maintenance projects. I believe I am a great fit for any company due to my committed work ethic, trainable nature, and classroom and field experiences.
Listed skills include Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, Project Planning, Leadership, and 3 others.
