I am from Bluefield, Virginia, and have lived there since I was 7. My time as a high school student was very eventful because I was always a self-starter in many leadership positions. I was a student government member, a two-time national qualifier for the Future Business Leaders of America, and President of the Pep Club while playing golf and tennis. During my time as Pep Club President, I would start a program that would raise money to allow students to receive free entry to some games; this program would go on to raise over five thousand dollars. I graduated with over a 4.0 GPA and am currently a student at the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech.I have had many leadership roles throughout high school, and this summer, I entered the workforce with two different jobs. My job as a lifeguard taught me the importance of teamwork and how seriously you should take any employment. My job at Hibbett Sports was a learning experience in customer relations, collaboration, and communication.
