As an Assistant Manager I was tasked with resolving any conflicts between customers and among employees. I provided exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, high volume restaurant and am able to multitask efficiently. I remained-up-to-date on any menu changes and new offerings so I could explain them properly to customers. I trained new employees on policies and procedures and provided informal feedback based on their progress.

As a Human Resources intern at FirstKey Homes one of my first responsibilities was to successfully onboard 10 of my fellow summer interns. I worked in collaboration with the L&D team to manage the 2023 internship program. I sent emails, created events, and sent out reminders to the interns regarding deadlines. I also made surveys, flyers, and invitations in regard to the 2023 Internship program. I facilitated an intern social event and an intern volunteer event. One of my main goals was to leave this internship program better in the future. In order to do that I had to come up with new ideas and then ask my fellow interns what they liked and disliked about this program. I reported any data/analytics gathered from survey responses to the head of HR.

As a Rooms intern I got the opportunity to experience three different roles at The Omni Hotel at The Battery. I worked as a front desk agent where I got to brush up on my customer service and interpersonal skills. I learned all about the hotel and the surrounding area in order to direct guests in the right direction. I worked in housekeeping and learned about the role and played the role of a housekeeper and housekeeper supervisor. I learned what to look for when inspecting rooms to make sure they are in tip top shape and ready to sell. I also worked in pbx where I answered questions and ensured all phone calls reached the right people.

Dae Made It is a small business owned online jewelry shop. As social media manager and developer I set up Instagram and Facebook pages for the business. I made posts periodically about special pop up events and I looked out for new followers and messages. I also created the website for Dae Made It and put up new products every week for customers to shop. I weighed the packaging, created shipping labels, and shipped customers orders out to them.

As an economic development intern at the Cobb Chamber I was tasked with doing a bit of everything. I got the opportunity to research stats and facts about my community and use them for website development. I talked to a bunch of schools in the Cobb area about maintaining their partnership with the Chamber through the Partners in Education program. I pulled Cobb company's files for taxes. I formatted schedules and lists for projects. I reached out to the top employers in Cobb County for yearly employee counts. I sat in on a couple of meetings and also had the opportunity to attend a few events and help set up.

I started out as a customer service representative and then moved up to a pizza maker. I was tasked with answering phone calls, taking orders, making orders, and tending to the oven. When I closed I broke everything down, prepped the meat and veggies, and counted the money for the day. Once COVID hit we were tasked with doing things a bit differently. We wore masks and had customers socially distance while in the store. Due to the pandemic we also imported things such as curbside carry out, where customers were able to order on the Dominos app and then sit in their vehicle and have their order brought out to them.
