Review traffic management plans. In this role I was employed in investigating accident blackspots and investigation and scoping of improvement projects. This included works such as modelling (using programs such as Sidra), community consultation and preparation of cost estimates. I was required to manage investigation works such as service proving and obtaining budget estimates for the relocation or alteration of services. In this role I was responsible for arranging surveys as required and the preparation of traffic signal plans.

Metropolitan North West Region

Investigation and scoping of a number of road network improvement projects including:-installation of additional traffic lanes at various intersections- installation of on-road bicycle lanes-installation of bus priority phases at signalised intersections- investigation of crash sites to construct skid resistance treatments- installation of fully controlled right turn phases at signalised intersections including road widening- installation of improvement works such as electronic warning signs at signalised intersections.

Managed construction of minor improvement works including batter stabilization and formation widening. Carried out negotiations with external stakeholders eg Alpine Shire, Parks Victoria and Department of Natural Resources and Environment. Managed projects such as repair and construction of agricultural drains, kerb and channel and shoulder sealing works to treat erosion issues. Managed works such as minor intersection improvement works.

Scoping and preparation of funding submissions for various improvement projects including road safety improvement works, new signal phases, installation of bike lanes and new traffic signals.
