Within this role I developed a novel game to teach proper pipetting and lab skills, attended lectures on the gamification of teaching, and presented my work at the University's 2019 Learning and Teaching Conference.

Providing one-to-one/two-to-one care for disabled children (ages 4 to 12), facilitating play at a bespoke play centre. Whilst I was responsible for my one-to-one's needs, everything from play to toileting, I was also responsible for running group activities, managing specific zones of the play site, and ensuring the play centre remained clean, safe and fit-for-use.

A fast-paced, customer-facing seasonal role over the Christmas period. This involved typical retail responsibilities such as manning tills, organizing and re-stocking displays, and incentivising sign-ups to retail reward schemes.

I conducted an independent research placement alongside the Surrey Wildlife Trust, facilitated through the Nuffield Research Placements scheme.Within this role I designed and carried out a field study to determine whether local protected reptile populations exhibited a preference for mature lowland heath or freshly regenerated heathland. I summarised my findings in a 3000-word report, which received a Gold CREST award and won me a place at the finals of the National Science and Engineering Competition 2014, at which I presented my research as a poster to experts and the general public.
