I recently graduated from Sacramento State University with a degree in Computer Engineering. My main interest is in software development, with a secondary interest in hardware data path design. I worked as an intern at Intel for three years developing a C++ user interface application for managing and searching a database of IC components. This experience taught me a lot about the software life cycle, since I was able to work on the software from the planning stage through the delivery of the software. I greatly enjoyed having a problem laid out in front of me, and working hard to figure out the best solution to that problem.In college, I was grateful for the opportunity to spend a year as president of the Ski and Snowboard Club. At first I was nervous getting up to speak in front of my peers, but I quickly overcame that and was able to make the meetings entertaining for all our members. This role also gave me the opportunity to be head coordinator for the Sacramento State Ski Swap, one of the largest fundraisers put on by any CSU organization. In a single day, we raised over twelve-thousand dollars for our club, funds we could use to make our club something truly special.
